In clean rooms and a large number of particle measurement tasks, it is often necessary to accurately dilute aerosol particles, and it is required that the particle size distribution of the aerosol remains unchanged before and after dilution; sometimes, with the help of aerosol dilution, the same measuring device can be used to measure aerosols with both high and low particle concentrations.

The instrument collects a part of aerosol particles through flow control, the aerosol flow ratio remains unchanged, and the bypass air enters the mixing chamber through the HEPA filter. The two airflows are uniformly mixed, so that the original particle concentration is diluted. Maintaining a certain inlet flow rate can form a fixed particle dilution ratio.
